Badass! This could pass for production art, it's that good!
Y'know, I think the biggest reason why Wreck-It Ralph resonated with me so much was because I could totally relate to Vanellope's situation. When I was her age, kids teased me like a mofo, and I always suspected there was some sinister reason for it that I just couldn't understand. The movie taps into such a real, primal childhood fear, the notion that everyone is against you, and yet it makes it so incredibly entertaining and heartwarming because Vanellope stays so positive and snarky even when she's an outcast. It's great.
